About Mr. Hughes

 

Hi.  My name is Kenny Hughes and I'll be one of your child's teachers this school year.  I'm very excited to meet your child and work with you to make this school year the best they've had.  This makes my eighth year teaching.  I've taught third, fourth, and fifth grade social studies, 3rd/4th Accelerated Math, 3rd grade self-contained, 6-8th grade mathematics, and most recently, 3rd grade ELA and social studies for the last 4 years.  I have a variety of degrees.  I have an AA degree from Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College, a BS in Elementary Education from Lincoln Memorial University, a MA in Educational Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University, and a Rank I in Supervisor of Instruction from Union College.  As many of you know, I wear many different hats at Black Mountain, but I am committed to our children.  If you have any questions or comments, please contact me.  My contact information is under the "Contact Me" tab on this page.
